Flashed the newest test build under the k4 test folder R29980. Had no issue of it coming back up without the endless reboot. It is stable. Lets see how many days it stays up.

Thanks for confirming. The build is final now, as I could not reproduce the issues anymore, that I found last time.

One fix was done by brainslayer yesterday after I told him the cause for the BUG and I have done some fixes/enhancement that will be committed soon.

...mmm
I have the same issue with Buffalo 600DHP2
CPU Model Broadcom BCM4708 (very fast, I am fine with it) and Buffalo G300N.

Wireless drop connection, try to reconnect but refused.

Reset is the only way to make it works again and till to today I have not understud where is the issue.
I'm looking for QoS band limit.
Brainslayer version.

Hi, i have a R7000 Router and with several firmwares before and including this one the router drops Wifi and LAN several times in a hour or over the day. I don't know what to do, what build is stable regarding this?

What do you mean by drop, does the ssid vanish, not viible to clients, does the connection drop and reconnect after a few seconds?

If you have an intel client make sure you got the latest drivers, older intel client drivers exhibited this problem.

I have a larger number of R7000 in production and they are on 24h for month without any wireless connection issues. If they would loose connection my monitoring server would report this at once.

I lost my own topic...

2 beta testers: 1 son 14 yo and 1 daughter 11 yo.
Android gamers, a lot of internet traffic.
I use VPN for work, 10 clients connected.

The case:
when wireless has been left alone for a couple of
hours it hangs.

When connection drop from (ex.) 250 to 40
very often it hangs.

Sometimes desktop connectione says "No internet" and
after 1 minute it works... but after 20 minutes it hangs.

No DNS in theese strange moments.

But now I reached happily 2 days and 34 of connection with theese settings:

Use DNSMasq for DHCP X
Use DNSMasq for DNS THIS MADE THE DIFFERENCE!
DHCP-Authoritative X
Recursive DNS Resolving
Forced DNS Redirection X

DNSMasq for DNS ON and wireless hangs,
OFF wireless seems to stay up.

Bad DNS cache table ?

I haven't find nothing of interesting in log.

Please let's write about this issue because all we need is
a good router.

Note that we all use the "same" CPU:

R7000 = BCM4709 dual core
Buffalo D600HP2 = BCM4708 single core

Michele

What do you mean by drop,
does the ssid vanish, NO SSID is right
not viible to clients NO I see.
does the connection drop and reconnect after a few seconds?
Drop and when try routewr refuse so I must reboot to make it work again.

NO INTEL, issue affect all clients if wirelss hangs.

The SSID is still visible, but all Connections, wifi and cable, drop and reconnect after several seconds (30?). PC got latest drivers, iPhone, iPad, Fire TV say no internet connection available.

idem

but with Use DNSMasq for DNS NOT checked
it resist.

DNS cache, the job of DNSmasq, we must understand
why.
