Latest build (vpn-generic.bin) ALL VPNs working correctly on WRT54G is

03-19-2012-r18777

After this, L2TP is broken.

Why is L2TP-function important?

1.) Some FREE VPN-Providers like VPNgate.net, SecurityKISS and ZPN.im do not support PPTP-protocol any more.

2.) Using L2TP & OpenVPN simultaneously you can easily create a VPN-cascade on your DD-WRT-router:

YOU -> L2TP -> Socks5-Proxy -> OpenVPN -> DESTINATION Cool

So between YOU (Desktop-PC, Mobile Phone, TV) and your DESTINATION (P2P, OCH, Streaming-Service) are three different locations (IPs) now. For secure, anonymous internet it does not need to install a VPN on your different devices any more - just establish a WLAN connection to your secure router!
