physical layout is just not on our side.
we have a wrt54gs v4 running fine
we have a wrt54g v5 running fine.
we have a wired only tv mounted to the wall.
what modes, if possible, do we set the two wrt54 units so that the tv connected to wrt54g connects to wrt54GS which is connected to the dsl modem/router ?

i don't know how capable are your units especially
for heavy load such a TV streaming and ect, but you can
use them in forwarder/switch mode (wired) and use DSl/modem for DHCP check Google "forwarder/switch mode dd-wrt" there are many good examples!!

Put IPTV on a separate VLAN and enable Multicast.
