TP-Link Archer C7 V2.0 IL
Upgraded to last version before few days. After about one day of working LAN stopped, but WIFI still alive. After reboot LAN worked. After about one day after reboot the router do reboot by itself. It was the 1-st time for all it's live about 8-9 month of working.
Any reason usblp would be missing from this build for the EA8500?
When I plug-in one of my USB printers I get...
Code:
usb 1-1.4: new high-speed USB device number 3 using xhci-hcd
While on my R7000 with DD-WRT v3.0-r29147 I get...
Code:
usb 1-2: new high-speed USB device number 4 using ehci-pci
usblp 1-2:1.0: usblp0: USB Bidirectional printer dev 4 if 0 alt 0 proto 2 vid 0x04F9 pid 0x024A

Router: TPLINK ARCHER-C7 v2
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r30082 std (07/01/16)
Status: faulty
Reset: no then yes and last full reset "erase nvram"
Errors: Lan stops working
i took what i were able to find of logs with syslog enabled but it do not look like there is any useful information
no reset up ~2 hours
GUI reset up 15 min
"erase nvram" up 21 min
not a good build for internal networking or lan<=>wan but fine for simple wifi<=>wan
for now i reverted to r29837 (06/06/16)
EDIT:
after some more testing it seams to be an issue with
Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 06)
but all other wired network cards (inc. switches) i have works just fine
one could say it must be an issue with firmware on these two machines with Realtek net cards but seems questionable since it stated after upgrading dd-wrt
oh well fixed by placing a switch in between them and the router
