This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build. Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build.

I did an update from
Code:
Firmware Version   DD-WRT v3.0-r30284 std (07/25/16)
Kernel Version      Linux 3.2.81 #25453 Mon Jul 25 08:22:10 CEST 2016 mips

to
Code:
Firmware Version   DD-WRT v3.0-r30356 std (08/04/16)
Kernel Version      Linux 3.2.81 #25648 Thu Aug 4 11:13:50 CEST 2016 mips

on my D-Link 615 H2 a few minutes ago, and everything's still up and running: Wireless in AP mode @ WPA2, cable modem on the WAN side, 8port gigabit switch on the LAN side.

No reset to defaults was performed, just a direct update.

Disabling "Wireless GUI Access" in Wireless -> Advanced Settings still does nothing, like...forever now. I'm getting more and more familiar with the impression that i'll never see this option working in the lifetime of this router, but i'd like to be proven wrong on this. Wink

DIR-615rev.H1
updated w/o reset from previous FW;
everything seems to work properly.
Except:
Since FWs 30342 and newer I have the impression that the RepeaterBridge has a Channel-Selection-Following-Problem with the Router. Both are set to "lower". After an upgrade the RepeaterBridge catches the right channel but with "upper" (systematically) although it's set to lower. So it's handwork on the Router to catch the RepeaterBridge. Rebooting of both doesn't solve the problem.
