.....looks like the GUI memory quirk has been fixed --
That's bull, you don't know what you're talking 'bout, it's just like last build!
When fairly calm inactive goes to -0- but increases under a load

What is inactive RAM anyway?
And why do you think it shouldn't do that?

Have you tried running the command:

iw dev ath0 station dump

to see what it reports as TX speed (and ath1 for the 5 GHz)? What I see is the GUI is not reporting correct TX bitrates but RX bitrates are correct and match the iw command. The iw command does show correct TX bitrates.

My reply was regarding that ticket. That ticket (#5475) you reference says the TX speed is very low compared to the RX speed and nothing about a non-functional radio. My reply was indicating that the GUI is incorrectly reporting the TX bitrate while the iw command shows the correct TX bitrate. If you have a different ticket than #5475, please include a reference to that ticket.

Update: really bad bufferbloat performance.
QoS enabled: FQ_CODEL
Went from consistent A/A+ test results here https://www.dslreports.com/speedtest down to "C".
Confirmed by running basic tests of running speedtests and continuous pings, RTT averages vary wildly with this version.
Went back to 30356, then up to 30385, both perform excellent.
It seems this regression was introduced here:

I tried both hfsc and htb and different percentage values.
Sticking to 30385 for now.

tx bitrate: 54.0 MBit/s MCS 14
rx bitrate: 150.0 MBit/s MCS 7 40MHz short GI
expected throughput: 43.303Mbps

i do also notice my upload is impaired a bit !!
apart of that applying changes from GUI breaks local DNS
names

WNDR3700v1

I have a laptop client with a realtek 8821E AC controller. I get constant disconnects about every 5-7 minutes. I have tried all the new/old drivers on the ASUS website. taken my channel width to 20mhz and tried a whole host of different WiFi settings to no avail.

None of my other wireless clients have disconnect issues, but none are a AC class controller.

any ideas whats wrong? Didn't start happening until the 3xxxx series of firmware.
