Did the hack, and mine's reporting:

/jffs # free
total used free shared buffers
Mem: 30288 10440 19848 0 1248
Swap: 0 0 0
Total: 30288 10440 19848
/jffs # df
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/root 2944 2944 0 100% /
/dev/mtdblock/4 320 320 0 100% /jffs
/jffs #

Is there any way to mount the extra space in the /jffs or any other folder?

my G v2.0 board rev HX has *two* ISSI IS42S16800A-7T i.e. 2x16MB modules = 32MB.

According to: http://wl500g.dyndns.org/sdram.html

Code:
nvram set sdram_init=0x0008
nvram set sdram_ncdl=0x0000
nvram commit

adds other 16 MB, resulting 32 MB in total.
It's a NVRAM setting, so you have to repeat it after every factory reset/reflash.
