We have a
TP-LINK WR-1043ND
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r27506 (07/09/15) std

Main PC is wired and Guests use wifi on it's own subnet. We need to put in another wired PC that can only use the Internet without being able to see the rest of the LAN, wired or wifi. The new PC will not use wifi for some reason it keeps dropping out, but wired works fine.

We have an older Buffalo Air-station also with dd-wrt on it if needed.

How do I set this up so that the new PC can see just the Internet via wire?

I searched here but have a problem figuring out exactly what search term I need.
Thanks

since the router probably has a "dumb" switch on the LAN side for wire this is impossible. I can not think of the proper term right now, but the packets would communicate via MAC address information. and the "dumb" switch will not allow you to filter it.
