New to DD-WRT but finding it excellent so far. I'm looking to do the following

Router R7000 192.168.1.1 5Ghz SSID (Private)
WAP R7000 192.168.1.2 5Ghz SSID (Private) 2.4Ghz SSID (Guest)

Both running v3.0-r36465M kongac

WAN port of router is connected to modem
WAN port of WAP is connected to LAN port of router

I want to create a layer 2 network on the WAP which is fine disable WAN port, no NAT, DCHP etc.

I want to create a guest SSID on the 2.4Ghz radio on the WAP which only has access to the internet and cannot see anything else on either the router or WAP. Guest SSID should have its own DCHP and network address range.

What is the simplest way of doing this?

I've looked at setting up VLANs and tagging them but it seems a little complex for just guest internet access.
