Lag spikes in upload for connection below 1Mbps...not so terrible than previous builds...but devs is closer to fix it... _________________ Tp-Link WR-1043ND v3

After 30631 router will NOT boot if anything is physically connected to a LAN port. The only way to get it to boot was to disconnect all wired hosts, reboot and wait for the light to change from orange. Then, I could connect wired hosts.
Speedtest.net upload test kept erroring out. Went back to 30631.

VAPs subnet mask broken ... same as previous build - affects both of these routers
Save & apply broken main setup page ... same as previous build - affects only EA8500
---
EDIT:
So I take a good backup of the WNDR3700v4 and install on new 30681 build.
In GUI ath0.1 unbridged interface shows 0.0.0.0 for IP & subnetmask
same 0.0.0.0 in 'Networking'
check thru ssh and all appears to be there as should be -- all routes & iptable firewall.
Swap it in as my main router and it is working great so far.
guest on ath0.1 good, net isolation good
SAMBA share drive working also.
QOS good
unbound good
I'll let it run till it breaks - just a bit odd looking at things in the GUI

there is something wrong with the switch & seems that no one really knows..its also screwing with qos on top of qos's problems too. idk why this switch is so..jittery like in performance when the ea8500, with the same switch, was fine. when i tried connecting in client mode over wifi to the isp modem, my qos wan throughput was much more stable & predicable too.. all builds from bs & kong do this.
there was a suggestion in the r7800 thread recently but i dont see any commit testing it, unless its completely broken i think we should try it at least. _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)

Reset: Reset to defaults + erase nvram
Errors: WAN interface wouldn't get DHCP address from modem until erasing nvram; resetting to defaults was not enough to get it working properly. At one point packet transfer from the internet was in a partially working state, but speed was very slow/hanging up. All was fixed after erasing nvram. I also noticed the LED light with two arrows is stuck on 100% of the time, which is only supposed to be illuminated when it's in failsafe mode.
