You have overclocked the unit and blame the build for it, this is really lame.

Sorry but I had bought it off Ebay and it had the Netgear Firmware on it before I put DD-WRT on it. I don't even know how to overclock it so it must of been the previous owner.

Then logon via telnet and run command:

nvram set clkfreq=800,533
nvram commit
reboot

because clkfreq is not set back to default with a factory reset.

I wasn't blaming the build. I'm a total noob, just trying to set it up for my VPN. No firmware bug now. Telnet into it worked! Had to google how to telnet into DD-WRT. VPN is working now!
