Password reset for dd-wrt 3.v3.0-r28586 TP-Link Archer C8 v1

I successfully loaded the beta image and promptly reset the password to something unknown.

I have tried to reset to default settings, but unable to use reset button to do so.

Please help, laugh if you must!

Power off, hold the wps/reset button and power on, while holding the button for approx 25 seconds until the light starts blinking and then release, wait for the reboot, this can take a couple of minutes.

Default is admin/admin, and default address is 192.168.1.1, so if necessary set your IP address of PC to 192.168.1.8

I can't reset the device. tried the 30-30-30 and nothing. I guess I fatfinger the login and now I cant login to it after loading DD-WRT
