|
Hi, I know there are several threads of this same question but all of the relevant ones I found are years old.
I have the linksys model noted in the subject, CPU: Broadcom BCM4712 with 4MB flash.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good build. The one recommended in the database is 6 years old (14896 from 2010) which is fine if that's the best. Just wanted to check the forums first.
I just have a standard uplink to a cable modem pulling a public address then I'll have to hand out private addresses on the ports and WLAN to mask and route out.
Thank you |

Use 14929 or 27858; or if you're interested, some have used recent builds with success (search the "New Build" threads), and I would have tried them but both my WRT's are in use at the in-laws, still on 27858. _________________ # NAT/SFE/CTF: limited speed w/ DD # Repeater issues # DD-WRT info: FAQ, Builds, Types, Modes, Changes, Demo #
