Hello,

Recently a friend of mine gave me his Draytek vigorAP 800. And I can use the router for repeating my home wifi and USB for storage.

Searching on the database no reference, I have some skills with electronics, I manage to open it up, connect the serial port and grab the boot log.

I'll search further on the database to check for a compatible model.
Its a RT3052F chipset with 4Mb flash and 64Mb RAM by the first look.

Can anyone tell me if its possible to try dd-wrt on this router, at least test it? And if so, one or two guide lines on how to load the dd-wrt firmware on it.

Thank you a lot.

Code:

Set info->start[0]=BF000000

(AP800 Bootloader 1.0.8)Press 'z' to stop boot

I've found this possible candidates based on the chipset, but I have honestly no idea of what is need or how close shall the specs be in order to try another router's dd-wrt (also I'm not familiarized with sending firmware through boot loader :\ )
