I wanted to have more bandwidth with my upcoming FreeNas build at home. I'm planning to buy a switch with link aggregation support. Now is link aggregation even possible on my router? Can I use all 4 ports for link aggregation? I wanted to connect all of my devices on the switch(because afaik they dont do internet cause DHCP is not present) and I think just having one connection from the router to the switch might bottleneck internet speeds for the clients, no? Am I doing this home network right?

The bottleneck will be in the C7 due to software NAT. I believe the max bandwidth of a C7 is about 100mb/s. Tatsuya46 did give an equation to use for estimating max bandwidth but I can't find it.
For anything higher than 100mb/s you will most likely need to use a much more expensive router like the Netgear R8000. _________________ Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware? I suggest reading it all.
