Router: R8000
Firmware:31160M
Kernel: Linux 4.4.43 #223 SMP Wed Jan 18 20:22:16 CET 2017 armv7l
Status: Working
Reset: Y
Errors: Wireless appears to drop occasionally and comes back

Using mostly default and recommended settings since I am fairly new to DD-WRT and flashing routers.

Do not forget to execute the following from the administration/commands tab: erase nvram && reboot
This clears everything and after that put your settings in manually, If you have questions ask Smile

This was a fresh install, I flashed based image, then flashed this to update. Didn't configure anything until I brought the image up to this one.

Do I still need to do that?

Thank you for your reply

Yes highly recommended to do after every install. It is probably not always necessary when there have been little changes between builds but it is difficult to know, so better safe then sorry.
On my production router I do it always, but I do not use every build on this router, on my test router I do it most of the times Smile

OK Great thank you for the feedback and tips I really appreciate it.

I will go ahead and do this now, and reset it back up before anyone in the house wakes up.. Smile

What do you do to record all your settings or do you just keep it all in your head like I would try and do?

There are scripting tools, however I use Internet Explorer spefically for this case, and have autocomplete enabled. http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch001377.htm

Once in a field just delete any entry if there is one and use down arrow and tab to choose Smile

To be sure I made screenprints as a backup.
