Firmware downgrade

Hey guys, I'm having problems with the R31221. After I installed it my wifi sometimes goes off and I don't know why. It was OK with R30949 (last version from 2016).

How do I flash to this previous version of DD-WRT? Normal like an upgrade (webflash.bin) but with the older version?

I have the same problem with a new firmware. But when I try the above mentioned method, after a couple of seconds I get an error message and process stopped. Is there any other method?

I used the instructions in this topic (http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=307301&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0) and it worked great.
