i updated Asus RT-n56u to latest firmware from their website. wireless works but lan ports are dead. when i connect to lan port, the light behind router is green but no ip is assigned. i reset the device a few times and configured everything but no help.

I suppose your question is related to Asus firmware so have you contacted Asus technical support for help? Unless it is a firmware problem which I doubt it very much, otherwise, it could be a hardware issue. I think Asus technical support should be able to tell you.
