Web upgrade: OK
Reset: Yes.
Status: Bad, Unusable.
Errors: Used as a Wifi repeater it connects and disconnects from the main router every few seconds.
Back to firmware r31277 and all O.K.

Just wish that the intermittent 5ghz dropout when network is busy issue would go away.

that is a ath10k fw issue. i had it too with r7800 but for some reason qualcomm is releasing fw for qca9880 & qca9984 radios only (ea8500 has qca9980).. its like they gave up on qca9980

I have zero dropouts on 5GHz.
What are your wireless settings?
What connection speed you have?
What clients dropout?

Yup same here on r7500v2 same chip no drop outs for me.
