that is a ath10k fw issue. i had it too with r7800 but for some reason qualcomm is releasing fw for qca9880 & qca9984 radios only (ea8500 has qca9980).. its like they gave up on qca9980 _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)

I have zero dropouts on 5GHz.
What are your wireless settings?
What connection speed you have?
What clients dropout?
