stick to united states for reg domain for now, many countries such as haiti (for highest tx power) are broken & will cap ath9k routers to a much lower tx power.

Quoting to repeat, all good with W841ND v9, no reset, no erase and no errors so far.


Side note anybody know if there is a plan to move off the 3.18 kernel now that it is no longer being maintained long term?

that's I'm interested in too

tl-wr841ndv9 runs fine so far with r31690.
the displayed rate for ht40 is now 300Mb/s again, it was at 270Mb/s with r31533-r31571

==> Beware, BS made a huge change on the nvram allocation and size for this device. So don't count on retrieving your setup after the upgrade. Be informed to write down all your settings and, after a 30/30/30 reset, redo everything trough the interface

Errors: Upgrade ok but will do test later when i have write down my settings and have time for a full reset...

Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r31690 std (03/04/17)
Status: No 5G on Apple. No Internet Access: Revert to 31571
Reset: Tried to carry settings to fix apple issue
Errors: Couldn't get 5G to work to apple devices. After resetting defaults couldn't regain AP. Reset to 31571 to regain working AP.

I posted this in the Broadcom forum first woops.
