Ok, so I'm finding conflicting information.
Attempted setting DTIM to 64, assigned a static dhcp address, etc to it.
What I'd like to do, is a verbose bit of logging in the router to see what the heck the stupid thermostat is doing, so I can attempt to get it back online.
I'm currently running an R7500v2 as my primary router, with an Archer C7v2 used as a client bridge, but I don't see that would impact the Nest, but just figured I'd disclose that.
Running r31690 on both routers.
Any pointers to whatever verbose logging I may be able to peak @ would be appreciated

Do you have a recommended set of settings I should try?

Ok, so I went through those settings, and tried various derivatives of them as well, to no avail.
Rather than waste a few more hours, I wonder if someone could point me to enabling verbose logging of a device with DD-WRT?

Alright, so enabled syslogd / klogd. Very unhelpful, as these appear to be mainly kernel messages.
I'm going to switch back to the stock Netgear firmware and ensure this isn't a hardware issue before further investigating the software side of things

Switch back to 1.0.3.10 Netgear. Speed across the bridge has improved ~45% (65Mbps --> 90Mbps).
Nest Thermostat works again, as well.
I'd love to run DD-WRT rather than Netgear's firmware, though.
If any of the devs would like me to run some tests, I'm happy to help.
