Hello, why do I upgrade to this version, does ipvanish work?
sorry for my English
I just upgrade to this version and have ipvanish working. I had to remove a few steps from the setup to get ipvanish working.

Then Select Apply Setting and wait for I-vanish to connect. This worked for me with this version this beta version and the version before it.

I did so without issue. They are both from the same source tree as I understand the current setup. What is different is just the name of the build.
They are from the same source tree, but Kong and Brainslayer do some pick and choose as to what is included. As an example Kong does not include a tab to view the syslog. Brainslayer does. So same source, but different builds.
But for ultimate reliability and speed, I am back on LEDE. _________________ My "WRT" rant, and why I have gone ddwrt on x86, no more consumer routers. ( ac86u as access points & bridges )
I flashed this release a few days ago on my 1900ACSv2 and I can hardly get two days of uptime out of it.
After some time the device drops all network connections and I have to reboot it.
This usually happens when I'm not around and since I can't connect to the device, I can't do much debugging.
I ran a February build before (don't remember which, if there's more than one) and that proved much more stable.

Agree with your assessment. This latest Brainslayer build is running good for me, up 2 days and counting, but at some point soon, I will be switching back to LEDE. LEDE just seems a little snapper when browsing the web for some reason.
I must say though that these latest Brainslayer builds are much improved from previous builds on my wrt1900accs v1, especially the 5GHz wireless throughput and stability.
I just find the wireless more reliable with LEDE right now.
Anything connected via ethernet is screaming fast on BS's builds, BUT.....everything the family uses is wireless now, and it has to pass the "family test ", or it's screwed _________________ My "WRT" rant, and why I have gone ddwrt on x86, no more consumer routers. Whats exactly unstable with latest BS build? May be just a placebo effect?
My 5ghz wifi is stable on very high bit rate HD video, Netflix HD, PS4 games and so on. The web browsing is lightning fast as well with 220mbs speed. I dont see any single problem, there is no wifi dropouts or errors for now.
It is quite simple actually, nothing nefarious.
LEDE does it for my setup, DDWRT doesn't.
Will keep trying BS's releases because I know eventually, DDWRT will do it.
If you haven't tried LEDE, then not much you can say about it. _________________ My "WRT" rant, and why I have gone ddwrt on x86, no more consumer routers. ( ac86u as access points & bridges )
I did try LEDE couple times and dont like UI and complications because i am not a programmer just a user. We are here to discuss DDWRT only and help each other. If you find a real problems with latest BS build let us know please
Ddwrt doesn't work as stable as another 3rd party product for me.
As far as the other one, I don't use pre-configured images, so that may be the difference in our experience.
that is why I always add the phrase "for me". Everyone's setup, experience, and ability is different.
If it works for you, and does what you need it to do, that is awesome! _________________ My "WRT" rant, and why I have gone ddwrt on x86, no more consumer routers. ( ac86u as access points & bridges )
