As the subject says I'm struggling connecting to my local machines whilst connected to my VPN provider (AirVPN).
Ive followed the OpenVPN On Dedicated Wireless Access Point (VAP) guide
and I now have an additional AP which I intend to use for VPN only. I also have an additional network (Home 192.168.0.0/24, VPN 10.0.0.0/24)
When the VPN is connected I can use the internet using the VPN, but can not see the other networks connected to my router. If I disable the VPN, I can use the internet using my ISP and I get fully access to my network.
Been playing around with a bunch of settings but can't seem to get this to work.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Well fortunately we have a couple of guru's who figured this out for you.

See: http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/5690 for @Eibgrad's script to get local access.

Beware there could also be a DNS leak, so check with ipleak.net or dnsleaktest.com . If you have a leak, there also is a solution available for.

Furthermore it is better to post these questions in the Advanced Networking forum Smile

The script Works!
This has been burning my head out for the last two days, so a big thank you for your reply and a big thanks to 'eibgrad' for creating the script.

Dont suppose anyone knows how to get the network discovery to work. Thats the only ting that is missing.
There is a very long method that involves giving up the built in openvpn client, which I may try tomorrow here.
But I was wondering if there was a simpler approach like adding to the existing script.

Can you ping your local machines and connect by using the IP address?
