|
My network used to work fine like this.
Code: | <main-router 192.168.0.254>
^
|
LAN1
|
v
<vm host 192.168.0.252>
<vm1 bridged 192.168.0.193>
<vm2 bridged 192.168.0.194> |
vm1 and vm2 are vm's in virtual box running on vm host, and they're bridged to the lan port of vm host.
One day I connected another router to the network. It was running as an AP only. Of course, DHCP was disabled on the secondary router.
Code: | <secondary-router(ap-only) 192.168.0.253>
^
|
LAN2/LAN2
|
v
<main-router 192.168.0.254>
^
|
LAN1
|
v
<vm host 192.168.0.252>
<vm1 bridged 192.168.0.193>
<vm2 bridged 192.168.0.194> |
One device can connect to the AP of the main or the secondary router via wireless.
But minutes later, vm1 and vm2 can't access the network anymore.
It seems that vm1 and vm2 can get the mac address of all devices in the network. But it can not connect to anyone except the host and vm's on the vm host. And the main router can get mac addr of vm1 and vm2, but can not connect to neither.
If I power off the secondary router, it will recovery later. I'm wondering what's happening.
In my network, vm host is running win8.1, vm1 and vm2 are both running win10.
My main router is an R7000, and secondary router is an R6300v2. They're running kongac builds 30910m and 30700. |
