Hi,

I have a bricked E1700 and it now constantly rebooting itself after power up. The Power LED blinks for few seconds then constantly light on for 1 second then off and all LAN LED flashes once and back to the loop again.

I used a LAN cable to connect to the E1700 but it will shows disconnected at the time the LAN LED flash.

I am unable to ping to device and therefore cannot re flash the router using TFTP.

I have opened the E1700 and hoping to use TTL serial cable to re flash it.

However I don't know which connector I should use and I need to know the pin assignment of it as well.

Hope someone can provide such information or otherwise I will have to throw it away.

Thanks

No filesystem could mount root, tried: squashfs
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(31,4)
Rebooting in 1 seconds..

what software are you using for recovery?

I use Putty with 57600 baud rate Data Bits = 8 Parity = none Stop bits = 1 Flow control = none

When you see uboot-1.1.3 press fast 1234567890 and then fast 4.In command prompt #erase.linux
Reboot router
But this time press 2 and 3 times enter
Router will start www
Flash first original firmware and then dd-wrt,but not last 2 versions.

Sorry for my bad english....
