Linksys E900 with 'big' firmware flash - no internet

I have just successfully flashed the 'big' dd-wrt onto my Linksys E900.

Having conected it to my broadband router the LinkSysE900 will not connect to the internet with the default firmware settings.

Auto Con is set to DHCP and security is disabled.

I'm not that tech savvy and do not know what to do next... any help appreciated.

What build number?

For recent builds (30880 is a good one) see: ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2016/11-14-2016-r30880/broadcom_K26/ use the mini-E900. Follow the procedure and do a 30/30/30 reset as described

Install is dd-wrt.v24-21676_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-nv64k.big (I installed the mini version first using the guide you mention, but since I needed OPEN_VPN I then installed the 'big' version). Neither gave internet connectivity though.

Are you suggesting that 30880 build will solve my problem and does this contain OPEN_VPN.

I have used 21676 on my WRT54GS and 320N and that was a solid build. Maybe the E900 is different but I doubt if a newer build will solve your problem, but you can always try. Start with the mini build and always 30/30/30 reset, follow the guide.
