Router: Netgear r6250
Firmware: netgear-r6250-webflash.bin r31825
Previous: netgear-r6250-webflash.bin r30471
Kernel:
Status: soft-brick
Reset: yes
Errors: I was having issues upgrading to some of the later builds. I went back to an early 2015 build, then tried to flat the latest. Doing that resulted in a soft-brick.

After using the instructions located at http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=304398 I was able to recover it back to stock nether firmware.

Then I tried to flash using factory-to-dd-wrt.chk. That resulted in the same bricked state.

Linksys WAP54G v3.x
DD-WRT v3.0-r31825 micro (04/06/17)
Linux 2.4.37 #45225 Thu Apr 6 04:22:31 CEST 2017 mips
WAP + Guest

Guest unbridged in wireless still no good.
But good news is br1 setup works fine and net isolation works great -- as it should Cool
Only custom thing needed in firewall is -
iptables -I FORWARD -i br1 -d `nvram get lan_ipaddr`/`nvram get lan_netmask` -m state --state NEW -j DROP
iptables -t nat -I POSTROUTING -o br0 -j SNAT --to `nvram get lan_ipaddr`

And of course the custom DHCP for br1 in DNSMasq options
AFAIK this has been working same since 31571 .. maybe even longer ago since net isol was fixed for br1
... anyways, that is cool

Where are you downloading that build though? The ftp server doesn't show any n12 models at all.

Hi, can someone tell, please, if mobile broadband is working again?
Tried so many times, but always had to go back to 28600, the last which worked.
Would be kind, if I could get a response from so who tried it.
Thanks

I included the file name in my post so there would be no confusion about this router.
You are not going to find a specific .bin for this unit because it is not fully supported probably
because the devs never had the actual unit to play with.

Here is link to new ---
ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2017/04-06-2017-r31825/broadcom_K3X/dd-wrt.v24-31825_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega.bin

other info about that router
http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1074201#1074201
last several post....
Note that thread: after looking back on some of Andy84 posts I believe his
trouble may be his router is a euro model and designated a RT N12-D and not a RTN12-D1.

WRT600n mega build

no reset
corrected reboot after flash (no need disconnect power cord)

VPN working,
Samba working
FTP working
Access restrictions working
USB working
Wlan 5 and 2.4 working

Performance
Wlan 5Ghz 270mbps - 43mbps in benchmarks
Wlan 2,4Ghz 130mbps 33mbps in benchmarks
wired lan 51mbs

tested on 120mbps connection

After disabling all services max capacity is 81mbps (typical on WRT600n @ 330Mhz)

p.s.
WRT600N only on OEM software with disabled services can reach 118mbps on wired and wlan 5GHz

cheers

There is already one #5307 and still open
Once there was an answer from Kong

Changed 19 months ago by Kong

Resolution set to worksforme
Status changed from new to closed

Tested current build with Huawei E1750. It is wortking fine with basic config through webif.

Thus cannot reproduce it. If you have problems with a specific device, either supply a fix or a device for testig purposes.

But I don`t know, what to do with that.

Would be happy, if I could get advise

EDIT: tried it now with version 31830, as LOM reported, that the lib3G was updated. Now it works perfect again.
Thanks
