this is for the same unit but with detachable antenna it suppose to work...
so first reset to default settings -> flash with ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2017/04-06-2017-r31825/tplink_tl-wr841ndv9/factory-to-ddwrt.bin -> than flash with ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2017/04-06-2017-r31825/tplink_tl-wr841ndv9/tl-wr841nd-webflash.bin it suppose to work... _________________ Atheros

well as DD-WRT builds are provided as a beta, nothing is guaranteed, i can tell you that it works and if you know how to install it and follow the directions it will be ok, but then again, its up to you how you gonna use your router and what for...
The other thing is that before you play with routers firmware you must know how to unbrick it first...
luckily for this old router there are a lot how to unbrick movies on youtube and its not a rocket science...
in case of any uncertainty you better start reading before you aim any action...there is a lot of info
just to let you know do not expect miracles from this old basic router that you have, once flashed correctly it will work, but as it has very low flash ram and slow CPU, its performance will not be great as well some of the features will be missing due to its small flash size ram.... _________________ Atheros
