hello
i currently have a WDR3600(V1.2) running build 21061, i tried to update the firmware and it bricked it . I've unbricked it and its back running 21061 .
I've read around on the forum for a post about this and can't find anything that answers it.
basically i want to update to a newer version;
what is the procedure of updating (webGUI or ftp)
And what build would you suggest i use?
thanks alex
Hi
"As for the flashing procedure, try to reset the router to the default settings before the update. It should be fine."
That worked like a dream thanks!

Hi,
Try build 27506. It's the best one I have ever installed on my devices (I have one 3600 as well).

Just wanted to say thank you for recommending this build. I've tried on my 3600s many newer fws but all of them gave me reboots after 4-16hrs of uptime (I run them WDS AP/Sta mode). The list of fws tried and failing:
- 30731
- 31277
- 32170
and some others I didn't even remember.

I am currently running 33215 on my WDR3600v1. It has been up for more than 2 days now. _________________ Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware? I suggest reading it all.
