Kong's DD-WRT test build 31980M - 2017/05/11 has been released: http://desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/

Your reports for Broadcom units are greatly appreciated !
Router:
Firmware:
Kernel:

Errors:

This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 29440_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build.

Your going from build 31870 to 31980 there has been over 100 changes to the DDWRT code. My signature has a DDWRT 60-day Changelog Link, click it to read all the changes.

Because the person that was doing it hasn't got the time to do it properly and correctly anymore, since he's not getting paid for it and has a life/work besides ddwrt, and no one has volunteered and has the ability to do it. You have to check every commit change to translate it to human readable changes, some are easy some aren't. The link that mac913 gave you is less than halfway a changelog for humans.

Further to xeon2k8's comment, if I recall correctly from when I checked last:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=279467
KrypteX didn't appear like they were feeling the love.

Understandable why they gave it away.

My main router ASUS AC68U refuses client connection (at least for 5ghz channel) after 1 day or so. Flashed it back to 31920M which was stable previously.
