Hello,
I'm using netgear X6 router.
I want to do an experiment about overlapping channels,and i want to see packet loss in the hardware level.
So, I want to enable the no ack mechanism, so any packet which will get loss won't be retransmitted.
My question is - If i'm turning this option on,only the router won't expect acks or all the computers which are connected to the router won't expect ack either?
For example - If one of the computers is sending a packet,will he expcet for an ack(and if the router won't respond with one it will retransmit) or not? |
