This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 29621_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build.

Four Netgear R6250 routers updated, seem to be working fine. I use the OpenVPN client with PIA through my main router, the other ones are just access points. Not sure what the build fixes or if there are any new features, change log is no help as it hasn't been updated in well over 6 months. Thanks to the devs for keeping to develop this awesome firmware!

Hi
I am running R30020 on a R7000 with a fairly complex setup.
Can I just upgrade using the GUI? Or should I use ddup?
And do I have to erase nvram or can it upgrade using my existing settings? I ideally don't want to have to re-enter all the settings/scripts/etc.
Thanks to ddwrt and kong for these new builds

That comes from a third party openssl lib, guess in the future I have to prevent usage of any third party apps, that are not part of my package repo.

Not sure how many times I told you guys, that entware etc. is not compatible and creates all sort of issues.

Hi Kong, what about country like Italy where your BOOTSTRAP is blacklisted? Entware, etc are the only one option to get usefull software on our router...

HI guys
Just flashed the latest R7800 firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r32170M kongat.
I had the previous version but in that version and in this version Open VPN status is empty:
Status-> OpenVpn...everything here is empty.
The OpenVpn works so this is just a minor problem for me but I thought I should mentioning it.

Otherwise: Great work.

Strange, here on r7000 openvpn status broke until last build but fixed in this. Maybe the fix is model-dependent...
