Apologies if this has been raised before but I can't find it. I run a Netgear WNR3500L with build 14929. This combination has been running for several years and mainly without issues. However every so often I lose connection to the internet and for a long time the simple solution was to reboot the router.
Recently I started to look more closely at the issue and wrote a script which would try to renew the lease but then discovered that the udhcpc process wasn't even running but there doesn't seem to be anything logged which might indicate why it stopped.
I know I can overcome the issue by restarting udhcpc but is there any way I can find out why it stops. |
