Hi, I have a wrt1900acv2 I finally got around to flashing to dd-wrt today. On stock I had an 2.4 ghz mixed g/n for my xbox and all other devices used 5ghz ac only. After flashing to 06-01-2017-r32170, 2.4ghz g/n works but nothing can connect to 5ghz ac only. I just upgraded to 07-08-2017-r32597 and no change. I can connect when set to n/ac and no security. Choosing ac only or adding wpa2 pers aes and my devices won't connect. I stopped trouble shooting there. Am I missing something or should I use a different build? These are from the 2017 other downloads section. Thanks.
did you reset settings to default? And when you say you can't connect, do the devices see the 5ghz radio and fail to get an IP or is it just not visible at all?
I defaulted before and after the flashes. The network is visible but they fail to connect. My win10 pc tries and will say can't connect to this network.

Hi!
Try to flash r31899 build with reset settings.
Then set a fixed channel and HT40,with uu Extension channel if possible (ex. 36, 40 or 100)
save, then apply... then set security WPA2 Personal/AES.. save, then apply...
I defaulted before and after the flashes. The network is visible but they fail to connect. My win10 pc tries and will say can't connect to this network.
have you set the channel for both bands? _________________ My "WRT" rant, and why I have gone ddwrt on x86, no more consumer routers. ( ac86u as access points & bridges )
