just a quick question if any of u guys could - it's on sale now on amazon for $155. that will end in about 4 hours. i'm flying fairly well on the 1900ac v1. i realize none of my devices can take advantage of the 3200acm's power BUT at such a low price, is it a worthwhile upgrade? _________________ asus rt-ac86u stock: 3.0.0.4.384_45149

imho the wrt3200 is a better router to get. LinkSys has been on selling refurbished wrt3200's on LinkSys Ebay at $120 for a fair while. So you can check there too.
With all the work that BrainSlayer has gotten done for the 3200 & his new builds taking advantage of the improvements in the Marvel SOC drivers, I'd guess that the 3200 would be a good move.
Do you need it? Hard to say, but it's a more powerful box and has the advantage of the BS update builds. It would give you more power for running VPN and a more complex firewall, etc.
