You are such a nice guy that you were going to do that anyway, right?
My wrt3200 has been up for 23 hours, but figure from what I read it is only a matter of time before a reboot. In my case it is a wife and teen girl that think Internet access is a right not a privilege. May get proactive later today when wife is not on PC and teen is gone to go back to davidc502's LEDE build which I had installed after the reboots on the previous r32670 build.
Both LEDE and Brainslayer's builds have the same wireless driver so guessing the reboots are not related to that. He has been doing web UI changes, NAT acceleration and QoS stuff so guessing the issue is more likely in there from my years of software debug and coding. _________________ Unifi Security Gateway:Unifi Firmware Netgear r7800:Voxel Firmware Modem:Netgear CM500V voice and Data. Not online yet. VHT160 locks up wifi cards, 5 GHZ is intermittent.
Why are you using 160? I have not heard of any client cards capable of 160 yet. What happens with 80? Also set a channel rather then using auto channel if you have not already.
I figured that the router would fall back to VHT80 but I guess I was wrong. That was the setting (VHT160) for ath0 but I've changed it to VHT80. Besides, interface ath2 was setup for VHT40 on 5GHz 802.11n (only) but that ssid doesn't show up at all (not even with iwlist) - manually selecting different channels made no difference. And my 802.11ac card can't connect to ath0 if I set it for AC-ONLY but the ssid shows up on a wifi scan - I tried both WPA2 and with no security - the card is an Intel 7265 dual band 802.11ac - manually setting different channels made no difference.

For what ever reason, I have better luck leaving the mode set to mixed rather then selecting say ac. Have an Intel NIC that will not connect if set to ac even though the NIC supports ac. The ath2 interface is not meant to be using for communications, if you read up on it. It is a bluetooth chip that folks say is planned for radar detection. Most folks set it to disable. _________________ Unifi Security Gateway:Unifi Firmware Netgear r7800:Voxel Firmware Modem:Netgear CM500V voice and Data. Using v3.0-r32753 std (07/19/17) on a Linksys WRT1900ACSv2, with no OpenVPN setup FWIW, and having the reboot issue a couple times day with light use so far. Gonna roll back to previous as it didn't have that issue.

That's disappointing. I wanted to increase my wifi speeds but it looks like this router isn't going to be any better than my wrt1900acs.

The settings for this interface are misleading. I tried to find out more from Linksys but the only bluetooth reference is to the PIFA antenna. I didn't see any setup info for bluetooth in the factory firmware. Anyway, I'm going to disable it.

I schedule my wifi to switch off between 2-6AM, when I woke up at 6:30 this morning, I could see the wifi being available to connect on my phone, but I couldn't connect. I press the wifi SSID on my phone but get booted off immediately because of authentication error, until I rebooted my router.
This happens with r32753 and r32597, not tried other builds.
