I installed it though not sure what has changed. It seems to be like the previous build, but I'm not sure.

This isn't the build thread.

Any update on the time problem?
After build 32170M, the router is stuck at 01-01-1970 after boot, unless you set the date manually.
The ntpd client doesn't seem to get run or is unable to fetch time, eventhough a timeserver has been configured in nvram.

Common error, if you use dns encryption. In this case no dns resolution before date is correct and ntp will not be able to resolve any dns server, thus if you use dnscrypt you need to supply a ip for the dns server.

It only disables itself if a feature requires it, currently in my build only PBR will turn of SFE.

Ah. I suppose SFE shouldn't have any issues with VPN sans PBR? Thank you, Kong. I deeply appreciate your hard work and this firmware.

I do not use dnscrypt, but a fixed dns, entered by ip-address in the configuration.
Everything was running fine in 32170M, but failed in every later build.

Try leaving it blank and reboot.

How is NOT configuring a time server going to solve the problem?

The firmware has preset time servers. I have have the left time server IP/Name blank and only set the time zone. Looking at the syslog the correct time is logged and DNSCrypt and OpenVPN Client startup fine.
