Been that way forever and affects all routers --
prolly not high on list to fix. At least the log works now Smile

...log indeed works, but dnsmasq crashes every 2 minutes on TL-WR1043ND V1. Does any of you saying that it works OK on WR1043ND use dnsmasq and WiFi? For me on every build after 30880 dnsmasq crashes exactly every 2 minutes when any WiFi client is active. This results in a lack of Internet access for about 15-20 sec, every 2 minutes :/

Hey guys, whenever I spend quite some time in the web gui or opened a number of tabs of the router page. I cannot access the web gui anymore for a few minutes, unless i manually restart the router. Here is a log, of my WDR4300v1 running build 33006. Any help on whats this error means and any fixes? (btw i replaced my mac address for, you know, obvious reasons) Wink

...log indeed works, but dnsmasq crashes every 2 minutes on TL-WR1043ND V1.

I use DNSMasq and have guest VAP but don't have any problems. Can you export here output of:

Code:
cat /tmp/dnsmasq.conf

Router Model: TPLINK WR940N v3
Firmware: 33006
Previous: Stock.
Status: Unusable
Reset: Yes.
Errors:
1. NO LAN connectivity, NO DHCP. The only access to the router is via WiFi.
2. WAN and Wireless MACs are same.
3. Router shows my router as Router Model
TP-Link TL-WR941ND v6, CPU Model
Atheros TP9343 ver 1 rev 1.0 (0x0150)
4. No WAN Connectivity either, no matter if i'm specifying dinamic or static ip.
5. LAN 4 works as WAN-port. Other ports are dead.

In other words nothing works except for WiFi.
Tried 30949 build - with the same result.

Now is the question, how to get back to stock firmware, afaik tftp can flash recovery image, but this image should be without boot, firmwares from tplink website are no good for this?

This is requested dnsmasq.conf (dumped from currently running 30880, but I guess it is not a problem):

Router: TP-Link Archer C7 V2
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r33006 std (08/03/17)
Kernel: Linux 3.18.63
Status: Bad
Reset: Yes
Errors: Ethernet performance is very poor using Mobile Broadband (using a 4G connection with the Huawei E3272 USB dongle). I have a 20 down/5 up connection and I get 1-2Mbits and it takes forever to load webpages and in general the connection is very unstable and choppy. Wi-Fi performance on the other hand is good, I get full speeds and good stability.
The problem started with r32753, r32597 is the last one that works fine.

I 'm using the similar router. I roll back to the stock firmware by using the firmware file in this thread:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=85237

Just use Wifi to connect to the router, access to admin page and then upgrade the firmware using that file.

I have the same router, but v1.11 with DD-WRT build 33006,and 1 Archer C2 v1.1 with the latest stock firmware, because it hasn't dd-wrt or others third party firmware.

I haven't issues with this build in my TP-Link TL-WR1043ND v1.11

Could you please try to reset the router and / or make a 30/30/30 reset? That might solve the problem.

Thank you in advance.

I hope that your issue is solved.

Kind regards. Smile

Edit: I'm sorry for being wrong in the question that I should have done differently. That is because of my poor level of English, so I am using an online translator to avoid these blunders. For this same reason I will be more careful with the translation. I hope understanding and apologize for it.

Additional info:

Also, the first thing I did was to return from DD-WRT build 32170 to the factory image of TP-link with its corresponding webrevert file, then I installed the latest Tp-link firmware from March 2014, and then install the 33006 build with the file Factory to DD-WRT. That may have made me avoid having difficulties with the router.

Router: D-Link DIR-615 C1, D-Link DIR-615 E3 & TP-Link WR841N v8.3
Firmware: v3.0-r33006 std (Release 08/03/2017)
Kernel: 3.10.107 #37305 Thu Aug 3 04:26:47 CEST 2017 mips DD-WRT
Status: This build worked perfectly on both D-Links, so I upgraded the TP-Link as well - same No Issues To Report.
Reset: Yes, physical button reset, telnet in & erase nvram, then flashed via webgui over a hardline.
Errors: None I've encountered, although my use/setup may be atypical.

I've put this through lengthy speedtests, bursts of thousands of little rsync'd files across the country, had multiple people streaming high quality video at once, multiple gamers who can live with flawed Hitron modem problems, keeping my lengthy ZNC sessions and SSH/ident/nginx servers rolling smooth on a variably hammered by bots Odroid-C1, done outbound video streams, transferred a couple hundred gigabytes *just because I can* :), average boring use, etc etc (with none of that WMM or QoS stuffs, but SFE is enabled I will admit) - and this has proven to be one solid build. None of the features I use or need have shown to have problems, but I'll report back if so.

So far this has been the most solid build I've tested, although v3.0-r31277 has been as dependable as can be and was my go-to until this one (within the jitter issue of the Hitron modem our ISP provides, one of only 2 models, and both have the Intel Puma 6 chip with all the issues - no plans to fix until the next wave of DOCSIS modems roll out ugh). Anyway.

This is definitely the build I'll be running mainline for a while to come, great job and thank you for your tireless efforts in keeping older gear fresher than the new :D Cheers!
