I'm gnashing my teeth over the website filtering feature in DD-WRT. I need to block some websites for a specific host and I can't seem to get it to work at all. If I switch from "filter" to "deny" it works (but of course all traffic is then blocked).
I am using a D-Link DIR-810L Rev A and I have tried several versions of DD-WRT. Currently I am using DD-WRT v3.0-r33006 std (08/03/17).
Testing from my PC, I can't seem to get a single thing to be blocked. It just doesn't make sense, so I must be doing something wrong. I thought I had used this feature successfully in the past (but then again it would have been on a different router either an Atheros or Broadcom).
Any help or suggestions would be great. Please no suggestions of third party applications--I'd like DD-WRT to work as intended.

It must be this firmware as i have been having the same problems with firmware v33006. If i revert back to V29739 Access Restriction" works again. This is also the case with Atheros routers that i have. _________________ Regards
