Hi, I would like to recognize an incoming IP telephone call for usage in my home automation (e.g. mute music, visual indication etc.). My setup is as follows:
Router TPLINK WR1043ND V3 with DD-WRT v3.0-r33342 std
Gigaset SL450A GO as a VOIP / DECT base station (192.168.3.253)
My telephone works, however, I do not see any packages / bytes on the above rules if a call is ringing. I also checked ip6tables (where no special forwards are configured) and there is also no indication.
As tcpdump cannot be installed on the WR1043ND V3 (I tried and the forum says the same), I am looking for a different solution. And actually I do not understand how the DECT phones are ringing, if no packets are send to the VOIP base station. So I am something missing here ...
