I have two routers(first one is from ISP) and the second one is my main router with DDWRT-EA6900.

I want to push uPnP settings to ISP router with a script from DDWRT router because I have to regularly hard reset the ISP router (dont ask me why).

For now I manually set port forwardings on ISP router every time I make a hard reset. I would like to automate this.

So I want to somehow forward settings for port forwarding from DDWRT (WAN port - manually set IP)->ISP router (has uPnP setting).

Wow, I am not sure you will understand me Wink

PS: I don't want to set something like DMZ.

I guess it is a too tough question Smile

It would be also possible to set this with a Windows computer I use as a server. But I didn't find any software tools to do this. I only found tools to set DDWRTs uPnP, but I dont want that.

What mode is the dd-wrt router in (Gateway or Router)?

Can you set static routes on the isp router?

DD WRT router is set as a router.
ISP router is very limited as settings go. I can set port forwarding and some other minor things.

I set DD WRT to static IP for WAN to 192.168.1.11 (ddwrt is at 192.168.2.x)

In router mode there is no port forwarding as NAT is disabled.

Is Internet working?

Can you ping the isp router from a client behind the dd-wrt?

It's the clients that open ports with upnp.

Clients open ports only on DDWRT but it does not translate to ISP router, there is internet, I can ping and access ISP router at 192.168.1.254 and DDWRT router at 192.168.2.254. I only see uPnP ports in DDWRT, but they dont translate to ISP router.

How many clients do you have on the LAN?

Your isp router may go down because it goes out of connections.

Isn't it possible to set the isp router as modem and have the public ip on the dd-wrt router?

I reset the ISP router because of some settings get reset (for IPTV). Nothing is wrong with the ISP router, nothing wrong with DDWRT aether.

I dont want to set it to external IP (I have this option but dont want to use it) because I would not be able to check the parameters for DSL line etc.

I just want DDWRT router to act as a client for uPnP setting.

Wouldn't you get a working system by putting the isp router into modem mode with the public address on the dd-wrt router and using the above document to get access to the modem configuration?

The weak point, the isp router will be eliminated. The function you ask for does not exist, but if it did it would make the isp router crash again.

The second best option is to put the dd-wrt router in the dmz and change dd-wrt to Operation Modd=Gateway.
