My DD-WRT uses mobile broadband to connect to the internet - a 3G dongle - which is great.

Questions:

1) Is it possible to have the router re-connect to the internet and when the connection drops? Automatically and with no user intervention? How?

2) Is it possible to have the router re-connect to the external internet with no reboot and no disturbance of the inner network - so that local devices continue to see a stabel network and continue to communicate even if the connection to the internet is re-established? Yes, my router also acts as a DHCP server.

I am running a r31899 (2017-04-24) on a LinkSys WRT1200ACv2.

My mobile broadband setup page does have a "Force reconnect" option, but I am unable to figure out if it has any function.
