The Belkin is repeating a wifi Comcast IP with a gateway and range of 10.0.0.1 - despite messing with many settings in ddwrt I can't get it to get an IP from the extender - no matter which mode. Do I have to have it in repeater mode? I can connect to a normal xfinitywifi or Comcast modem fine through ddwrt

Are the Belkin settings like 802.11e/WMM QoS that would mess with it? I've tried STP, on/off and some other things like that - it won't even connect to the signal in client or client bridge- do I need to go through some steps in repeater mode? Trying to get faster speeds.

I'm wanting to use the Linksys for the two antennas which would be a big upgrade over my tiny usb wifi card
