I've had this release installed on my Linksys WRT1900ACS V2 for about a day and it is working very well. _________________ FIRMWARE: 6-20-2018 - r36168

Went back to 31924. Didn't see a reboot in almost 2 days uptime, but ath1 receive errors were stacking up and wireless performance was bad on both radios.
Also, had some new weird issues I have never seen before.
I was getting a fair amount of interference into one of my Desktop PC speakers. It sits about 18 inches directly below router. Never had any speaker noise before with earlier builds, but this one had it snap, crackle & popin.
I was also getting a 'password incorrect' message from my iPad whenever I would switch to 5GHz even though password was correct.
Did a network settings reset on iPad and problem went away until I made any changes in Wireless Settings, then it was back.
So.....
I put 31924 on both partitions, did a reset and reconfigured everything (had been wanting to re-do my static leases) and that's how it's going to stay for the foreseeable future. _________________ DD-WRT Installation & Setup TUTORIAL http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311117

That's some weird stuff, Spurious!
I have in fact experienced similar issues with inability log in with correct password, terrible 5GHz and 2.4GHz speeds and interference noise on my kitchen radio. It turned out to be electrical tools used by my neighbour that interfered with Wifi networks in the whole block. As soon as his repairs were done everything went back to normal.
This makes me curious in your case too - are you sure your router caused your strange radio interference or could it have been a coincidence? _________________ Linksys WRT1900ACS V2 dd-wrt bs r35034

That's what I thought, too! I was convinced that it was my iPhone or iPad getting too close. I usually have one or both on my when I sit down at my desk and I just upgraded both. I was blaming it on iOS 11.
Long story short - I don't have any of the described symptoms on 31924 and I haven't seen it on any other build.
Weird, right!?
If I was sure that 33413 was going to be stable on my v1 I'd probably spend more time trying to figure out exactly what was happening, but it was only a matter of time until the reboots started anyway. _________________ DD-WRT Installation & Setup TUTORIAL http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311117

The 3200acm rebooted after around 40hrs uptime.
These reboots were not happening on r33180. I think I will go back to it.
Up just over 45 hours here. Aside from having the wrt3200 lock-up once after stress testing the wireless (a few builds back) I’ve never experienced the rebooting issue others are reporting on the 3200. Then others suggesting to disable SFE, with my setup it I just leave SFE enabled and haven’t had a single issue with it.
So just out of curiosity do you have IPv6 or use one of the phones BS mentioned earlier on page 158 on the big wrt3200 thread? I have a cheap Huawei phone and rarely connect to the wireless but when I do it seems to be OK... Inquiring minds want to know
so 33413 seems ok after about 24 hrs. 5ghz (ac/n mixed) speeds now slightly exceed 2.4 - yippee!
i have noticed a couple of idiosyncrasies on the 5g band though. the band seems to "disappear" when i go above the dynamic 20/40 setting. my panny tv "sees" it but the lg tv and the thinkpad don't. after returning back to dynamic, those devices STILL didn't see it even after a reboot and a manual power-off. it finally reappeared shown when i set the channels to auto.
this leads to my next question - with a mimo router (3200acm), should it even be necessary to change the setting from auto on the 5g band?
also found this https://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/QCA_wireless_settings#Wireless_Channel superb write-up on the forum. even though it's for qualcomm/atheros, most of the info should apply. _________________ asus rt-ac86u stock: 3.0.0.4.384_45149

I read somewhere that Dynamic is an outdated setting and shouldn't be used.
If you set Channel Width to higher setting any device that doesn't support it should use a narrower width by default.
On my WRT1900AC v1 I have ath1 set:
AC/N Mixed
VHT80
157 LU-2
Short Preamble
Beamforming
ACK Timing = 0
* Everything else default
I spent a good portion of an entire afternoon trying to find the most optimum settings and this is what did it for me. _________________ DD-WRT Installation & Setup TUTORIAL http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311117

Edit typo
SFE is disabled. Always has been for all the builds so far. What is surprising is that I never had this reboot problem with builds r33180 or older.
IPv6 is also disabled.
I have cheap Xiaomi phone that I use as a spare one. That could be the cause.

i'll play with it again and see what the deal is. if i can use vht80, great. thanks.
UPDATE: i did some googling and saw that post you referred to on not using "dynamic," by some guru. so i tried vht80 and left it on auto for channels. my devices are "seeing" it! cool. time for some speed tests. _________________ asus rt-ac86u stock: 3.0.0.4.384_45149

The opensource driver for 3200acm does not support MU-MIMO yet. You may get it if Marvell agree to spend time on it.
now that's just sad. great info though, makes me ponder going back to stock for awhile. hell, stock has been faster up until 33413. thanks. _________________ asus rt-ac86u stock: 3.0.0.4.384_45149

Router: Linksys WRT1900ACS v2
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r33413 std (09/27/17)
Upgraded from r33375 with settings kept (not reset)
VPN Client (IP Vanish) running with PBR (Policy Based Routing) and PBR kill switch. All working perfectly with more than acceptable VPN speeds (Comparable to windows client speeds).
GUI is fast and problem free.
Problems (identical as with r33375):
1. Internet LED does not go out if cable removed.
2. SFE (Shortcut Forwarding Engine) disabled as caused browsing problems when using PBR (but only for clients setup in PBR).
3. LAN WIFI file transfers are slow (best was <5MBs).
So no difference noticed, so far, between r33375 and r33413.

Linksys just LOVES to flaunt 'Open Source Ready' on their website.
Should read: 'Our products come with the utmost bare minimum of open-source firmware support.
You should consider writing to Marvell (yuhhaurlin) on Github to expedite these features. They are just sitting there making empty promises that they are committed to the product but doing nothing. Maybe of there is enough noise, the sleeping beauties at Marvell will wake up and do some coding.
