LichtiMC i guess you can turn off radio via cron script instead... on one of my routers i have this script to
turn on/off business hours only
0 18 * * 1,2,3,4,5 root wl -i eth1 radio off
0 6 * * 1,2,3,4,5 root wl -i eth1 radio on
Unfortunately this doesn't work either. Once eth1 is disabled by cmd "wl -i eth1 radio off" I can't reenable it with "wl -i eth1 radio on"
Somewhere I read, that for enabling wifi I need to do
stopservice nas
wl -i eth1 radio on
startservice nas
This works, to bring the wifi up again, but the problem regarding the crash after a few hours remains:

I guess it has to do smth. with dnsmasq. After these dnsmasq-logging-entries the router is dead:

Does anybody know why the router loses the connection and what I can do against it? Thanks.
Router: ASUS RT-AC68U
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r33435M kongac (10/08/17)
Previous: 31870M
Status: Working with issues
Reset: Yes.
Errors:
1. After router boots-up, NTP won't work. As a result, DNSCrypt won't work, and - no internet.
To fix the situation, i have to disable DNSCrypt, click Save and Apply, wait a couple of second for the router to sync the correct time, then enable DNSCrypt back again, and click Save and Apply. NTP server is 89.109.251.23
Build 31870M have no such problem.
2. DDNS Force Update Interval does not work.
When router boots up, it does one synchronization:
Code:
Thu Jan 1 03:00:17 1970: INADYN: Started 'INADYN Advanced version 1.96-ADV' - dynamic DNS updater.
Thu Jan 1 03:00:17 1970: INADYN: IP read from cache file is 'xx.xx.xx.xx'. No update required.

Kong has NTP Server IPs setup in the firmware, therefore you can leave the "Server IP/Name" blank.
I do recall in the past my DNSCrypt would would not start and many other services would not start because of the router date was not set at the beginning of boot. So I added these extra commands in Startup & DNSMasq, these are my examples to get the services I was using up and running...
In Administration -> Commands -> Startup
# Use Build Date & Time at Startup
date 201710081009
In Services -> Additional DNSMasq Options
# Force DNS Server when DNSCrpyt is not Certified

Yes I do have the same issue. 2 to 3 hrs the 2.4G WiFI is working and in some way even not. All my IP Cam are not connected not any more after some time. Only option was a restart this has happened 3-5 times, now I switched DNSMasq for DHCP and DNS OFF and the router is working well again.
So I guess there is some mess in the last update of DNSMasq.
SVN showed that:
18:06 Changeset[33430] by brainslayer
update dnsmasq
This update was the update from 2.77 to 2.78 version not sure if the new version of dnsmasq itself has some issues or the build.
Maybe if I do have some time I will setup the router new or I work without dnsmasq, since one day no issues any more.
Update: did nvram earse and setup all new... and it is working right now as it should.

On my R7000 the http server freeze after a couple of hours (I'm using HTTPS with my certificates). Today I couldn't even ssh to the r7000 (seen login banner but stuck after).
I'm trying the latest build to see if something change.
Any idea of what can be causing this ? I've seen nothing in the logs (from a remote syslog).

Router Model: Netgear R7000

Kernel Version: Linux 4.4.89 #448 SMP Sun Oct 8 10:09:05 CEST 2017 armv7l
Upgraded: 33010M
Reset: flashed with factory defaults
Status: Up and running
Errors: Yes, 5 GHz band disappears.
Hey,
My wl_1 channel disappears from the router settings despite the channel still being available most of the time, similar to this thread: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=939616. It's just not there, not under wireless settings or wireless status, as if the router lacked the functionality. I had previously set the then-present 5GHz band with an SSID and a WPA2 password. I'm not sure how long it took for it to disappear.
I've had this problem with previous releases, I hope it's possible to fix. In the meantime I will try restarting the router/setting to factory defaults and setting manual settings for the 5GHz channel if it surfaces again.
Thanks for all you do Kong and Brainslayer, you are both incredible individuals.
