WRT1900ACS V2 local & remote addresses are identical

When the VPN is Connected (OpenVPN) the local & remote addresses are the same, novice user (NordVPN)

Client: CONNECTED SUCCESS
Local Address: 10.8.8.2
Remote Address: 10.8.8.2

Followed VPN setup that NordVPN provided.

Thanks to all in advance who could point me to a resolution for this.

Nothing wrong with your setup. That is the private IP Address that was given to your home network by the VPN.
