Router Model: TP-Link Archer C7 V2
Update by GUI from: r33006 to r33492
Status: Operational
Reset: No
Errors: No new problems compared with 33006
Used features: USB storage x2, PPTP VPN, FTP, DDNS, SFE, Fixed IP, Wi-Fi only 5Ghz
Good things: Indeed seem to boot up a bit quicker than before but still quite slow.
Still not ok: the 2 USB storage are mounted at random.. one time sda1 next time sdb1. Hard to maintain a proper security of the folders on these. What is better than on 33006 is that now the internet connection doesn't drop when the second USB storage is added.
Router Model: TP-Link 841N V9
Update by GUI from: r33006 to r33492
Status: Operational
Reset: No
Errors: No
Used features: Wi-Fi 2.4Ghz (wired connection to the C7 above)
Router Model: TP-Link 740N V4
Update by GUI from: r33006 to r33492
Status: Operational
Reset: No
Errors: No
Used features: Wi-Fi 2.4Ghz (Client bridged)
Router Model: Linksys WRT160NL
Update by GUI or by TFTP from: r33006 to r33492
Status: Bricked
Reset: No
Errors: blinking power LED and the booting stops
PS: Yes, I have seen that for others is working... for me it is not. Ticket: 5959

Thanks! Everything up and running again! Created new keys with OpenVPN 2.4.4. including TLS auth key. One more thing. In the previous DD-WRT build I used, it was not necessary to forward a port. With build 33492 I had to do that, otherwise the VPN-server was reachable via LAN only.
Glad you got it sorted.....
If your router is the public WAN holding gateway you shouldn't have to manually forward anything.... It should do that itself.
Using the GUI to set only extra added for ovpn server:
If using Redirect default Gateway in ovpn server Additional Config - 'example = 192.168.1.0 /24 is routers LAN & 192.168.1.1 is routers IP' -
push "route 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0"
push "dhcp-option DNS 192.168.1.1"
firewall - example server net = 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.240
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 10.10.10.0/28 -j MASQUERADE
additional DNSMasq options -
interface=tun2
and dat should work - but then again I don't have your router ... so who knows

I remember your WRT160Nl had a differ flash ID than either of mine.
<4>[ 0.390000] ->Oops: flash id 0xef4017 .
And it would not even TFTP some builds????

Update on the above... I have finally managed to successfully update from 33006 to 33492 on the WRT160NL. It worked only from UI using the factory to DD-WRT bin combined with reset to defaults. After this done a second update with the usual file.
Seem to be working fine now.
Successful update from DD-WRT v3.0-r30880 std (11/14/16).
Did a factory reset before update to the latest firmware just in case.
Update process went smoothly, no errors so far (running it for an hour or so).

Try this one if you want.... but it had same affect on mine as r33492.
The one I had to TFTP -- went very fast but loading full FW and light stop blinking takes several minutes
attached r33524 wrt160nl-firmware.bin
FOR WRT160NL ONLY
1. Update by GUI failed... blinking power LED and boot sequence stopped. Brick.
2. Update by TFTP worked fine. Version 33524 seem to be working fine as Client Bridge on WRT160NL.
