WDR3600 upgrade problems to 33525

Hi Fellas,

Im trying to upgrade my router from

Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r33375 std (09/19/17)

to 10-17-2017-r33525

but my router refuses to perform the upgrade. I also tried resetting the router to factory defaults (30/30/30) and to downgrade to tplink defaults. but nothing.

after pressing 'upgrade', the screen shows me the upgrade fase, but after a couple of seconds it disconnects, the router starts to reboot. and im still on 33375.

any ideas? please.
