Ok guys I haven't flashed a modem in years and I think its time to flash my R700's to DD-WRT. The wiki links are old, so some help on where to start would be helpful. I am on the latest Netgear official firmware if that matters. Thanks.

Update:
I think I found the correct links that had the current .chk and .bin file which I flashed.

Update 2: Ok I flashed both my R700 routers and they are now hard linked together, did have a hard time getting them to work, but they did.

Anyone know how to properly setup DNSCrypt cause I enabled it in the router, but my computer can't get DNS from the router now unless I specify one i.e. OpenDNS in the Network Adapter settings?

Hmm if you are referring to MTP Client, it's enabled. I think I have the wrong setup for DNSCrypt, reading around, do you have to setup you router's IP on the DNS?

Update:
Ok I think the server I was using was dead, so I changed it to Adguard DNS 1 and Adguard DNS site says "You are using "Default" AdGuard DNS configuration" So I am guessing I got it working. Anyways, do I setup backup Static DNS Servers in DHCP or are those obsolete? Thanks
