Hello,
I´ve a problem with my Belkin F7D4302v1 running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) mini - build 21061.

Wanted update the firmware to the newest build, because of the KRACK issue,
but whatever I try the router stays on the actual build.
Following I´ve done:
> Update via web GUI -> tells me Update successfull und reboots, but its still the old build (with and without default settings)
> reset 30/30/30 ; update ; same result
> delete nvram via telnet; update ; same result
> delete nvram via telnet; update via telnet ; failure: bad trx

Has someone any idea, what I could do?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know anything about Belkin routers, but it seems that this post, is the official guide to upgrade firmware to your router.

I just did my 8302v1 (same hardware as 4302v1) a few days ago. Mine was also "stuck".

I connected my UART-to-USB gadget to the debug port, got to the command line and did TFTP from there. Worked like a charm.

Using the CFE is also the method of flashing from one build to the other, forget about doing a 30-30-30 that doesn't do the job for the belkin f7d4302-v1. Using the uart or serial usb is ok, if you like to open the cover and run a few commands, but going into the CFE will get you back online and installing the updated build.
